Massachusetts based support programs for patients, caregivers, and those effected by cancer. 

Camp casco

Camp Casco creates a space for kids to reclaim their childhood- to laugh and play. They provide these benefits to New England kids free-of-cost, giving patients, survivors, and siblings the chance to make lasting memories and build lifelong friendships.

ellie fund

Mission of the Ellie Fund is to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. Providing transportation to medical appointments, light housekeeping, nutritional and grocery assistance, childcare reimbursement, nutritious prepared/delivered meals and integrative therapy services free of charge to help relieve a patient’s burden while in treatment. The Ellie Fund is honored to provide assistance to breast cancer patients residing in and/or receiving treatment in Massachusetts.

Fly Foundation

The FLY Foundation will provide support to young adults diagnosed with cancer, aged 19-39, who are US citizens and residents of Massachusetts or Rhode Island and regain their health without financial debt.

Hope in bloom

Hope in Bloom is a non-profit organization that plants flower or vegetable gardens free of charge throughout Massachusetts at the homes of women and men undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Joe andruzzi Foundation

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for New England cancer patients and their families by contributing financial support when it is needed most.

MAGNOLIA

Magnolia is designed to help address the challenges patients face every day. The Magnolia program currently has three initiatives.

 - Magnolia Meals at Home delivers free nutritional meals to households affected by breast cancer so that families can spend more time together. This program is currently available in and around two pilot cities, Andover, Massachusetts and Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. For information on enrolling patients, or for copies of the program brochure, please contact Julie Taylor at jtaylor@cancersupportcommunity.org or 434-384-0247.  Program Info: https://www.magnoliamealsathome.com/

miss pink

The Miss Pink Organization supports breast cancer survivors and their families who have been diagnosed with, and are undergoing treatment for breast cancer through programs that promote emotional, physical and financial assistance to allow patients time for healing and to be with their families.

OVATIONS FOR THE CURE

Supporting ovarian cancer research, awareness & patient programs, Ovations for the Cure is dedicated to the relentless pursuit of a cure for ovarian cancer. Ovations' goal is to live in a world free of ovarian cancer. Ovations provides education programs that prioritize increasing awareness of ovarian cancer to improve early detection. Focused on improving the lives of women currently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Ovations has created and participates in many patient programs.

Runway for recovery

A nonprofit redefining the breast cancer experience for families through events and programs that strive to provide normalcy amidst the unimaginable. We are here for those who survive — and for those who live on as legacies, because we know that breast cancer never just impacts one.

Sailing heals

The mission of sailing heals is to provide a rejuvenating day at sea for patients and caregivers navigating cancer.

Stowe weekend of hope

This annual cancer retreat and education forum for all cancer types offers education with 40+ oncologists and accredited doctor presentations, and workshops and access to dozens of health, nutrition, fitness, restorative healing, and community support professionals. Attendees gather with members of the medical community and wellness communities in order to further their understanding of the disease affecting their lives.

sURVIVOR jOURNEYS

Survivor Journeys™ is a community-based support network of professionals who provide cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones unique survivorship services in western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut and beyond. Programs include cancer-specific support groups, survivor and caregiver peer mentoring program, educational programs, community outreach programs, caregiver support group, community-based referrals meeting the unique needs of cancer survivors and their loved ones, pet therapy, and professional development workshops and presentations.

TEAM CORK

Team Cork’s mission is to support our three major initiatives of raising cancer awareness, raising funds for cancer patient welfare programs, as well as encouraging people to reach and support those battling cancer. Our long-term objectives are to establish wellness programs and a network of volunteers to provide support services, entirely free of charge, to cancer patients and their providers during their battle with cancer.

We Beat Cancer

The mission of We Beat Cancer is to assist those going through what we have been through! We Beat Cancer works with Hospitals, Cancer Support Groups and other Foundations in the New England area to provide financial aid with parking, meals, transportation and other support services.

  • CancerCare.org is the leading national organization providing free, professional support services and information to help people manage the emotional, practical and financial challenges of cancer.  
  • Cancerhopenetwork.org provides free one-on-one peer support for adult cancer patients and their loved ones.
  • Cancersupportcommunity.org provides free online community and connection. 
  • Corpangelnetwork.org helps cancer patients access the best treatment by arranging free travel on corporate aircraft. 
  • Findhelp.org allows you to search using your zip code and connect to local support including financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, and other free or reduced-cost.
  • Healthwellfoundation.org provides financial assistance to eligible patients to cover certain out-of-pocket health care costs.
  • WellnessCommunity.org is committed to finding you and your family the best products that help improve your wellness and quality of life. Their team is focused on rigorous testing of multigenerational health, lifestyle, and aging products.
  • Veterans Affairs Caregiver Support Program offers clinical services to caregivers of eligible and covered Veterans enrolled in the VA health care system. The program’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of family caregivers who care for our Nation’s Veterans, through education, resources, support, and services. There is a CSP team CSP Team Locator located at every VA facilities .
